Catalina (Or Lina) has awlays been sugary sweet, very kind, and a great cook. She can sway anyone with her chocolate recipe, but she never uses it to her advantage, in fact, she hates doing so and will only resolve to doing that only when she feels like she must.

Everyone loves Catalina. They respect her, because she respects them. They admire her, because she admires them. As a pup, she has had many friends, her closest being Bruno, a macho-pup who always did such stupid things just to get her attention. But she never saw him as anything but a friend, and whenever he tries to woo her, she won't submit, because she cannot force those feelings for him. He is just a friend, like a brother to her, she won't fall in love with him, and so she stays away.

When another Sea Lion crashes into her Circus, she is the first to come to his aid. Poor thing, a broken flipper and he's shaking, oh he must be traumatized! She can't blame him, he could have died. Then they make eye-contact and he spoke. An angel, he called her. Oh how sweet! His eyes, oh his wonderful eyes were so very brown, he was very kind and clumsy, she could see him blush under that dark rubbery skin of his. So cute. Then Bruno comes and ruins it. Catalina gets shaken up over the fact that he had chased her new friend away. She believes she will never see him again, and goes back to doing her business, saddened that she had not had the chance to find out what his name was.

Then he sneaks back, and she is overjoyed at finding him hiding, looking for her and gives him one of her special chocolates. He loves it and praises her for her cooking skills. Then Bruno ruins it again, right when he gave her the most beautiful flower. Surely, her fascination with him is growing, no one, not even Bruno, has given her such a flower with such a powerful resemblance to her name. She keeps it close and hidden from Bruno's prying eyes. She won't let him take this gift away from her.

He comes again to escort her to his Circus and she is greeted warmly by everyone. How sweet! They treat each other like family, not animals, and certainly not "other" acts. She loves this! She never wants to go back. Little does Catalina know that she is falling for this little Sea Lion with the soft brown eyes, bushy eyebrows, curly whiskers and sweet Italian accent. This is certainly love, she knows it. Now all she has to do, is leave her Circus, and she would be living happily ever after~!
